Sometimes we start a journey with passion and focus, but as time goes on and the novelty fades, we lose that energy....The good news? God never leaves us.
I turn to poetry because it can speak in ways that prose can’t. We can pray, even sing, through poetry.
How do we know what God’s will is? Sometimes the only way to find out is to pray and see. But there are some things we can know for sure are always His will – things we can confidently expect Him to give when we ask for them.
There’s often not much reason for it. And yet peace – perfect, reason-transcending peace – is what we’re offered by a God who knows even more about our situations than we do.
The hair salon is probably the only public place where people go in looking their worst, and come out looking their best. Time spent with God is like that.
