Hello, friends! I hope you’re enjoying some beautiful weather in your area! In this issue of “The BeanSpired Life,” I have some exciting news to share, including my newest publication and more details on next month’s special writer guest. Buckle up for a fun read!
Behind the Screen

With all the recent mild, sunny weather in my part of NC, I’ve been enjoying a lot of time outdoors. While the leaves on most trees remain green until nearly November, one splash of fall color appears every October in a corner of our pastureโa small colony of swamp sunflowers that I call “Ginger’s sunflowers.”
The original plants were given to me in 2020 by a friend upon the passing of my horse Ginger, the Ginger from Just Megan. We planted them in Gingerโs memory, and theyโve returned every yearโeven the year the donkeys ate them! Their bright, uplifted faces and resilient nature remind me of the hope and redemption we have when we live for Jesus amid change and adversity.
On the writer front, I’ve been working on a small project that I’m excited to share with y’all by the end of the year. I’m also getting ready for upcoming busyness (see “Coming Up!” below).
And now, in lieu of our usual faith lesson, please enjoy my newly published devotion with Christian Devotions Ministries. (Spoiler alert: It’s the first but not the last.) I’ve been holding this news for a while and am happy to finallly be able to share!
Published: โIโm Your Responsibilityโ

I’m honored and excited to announce that one of my devotions was recently published by Christian Devotions Ministries, a ministry dedicated to planting seeds of biblical truth through writing.
If you’ve ever struggled with feelings of frustration and failure in the face of setbacks, this message is for you!
Coming Up!
Dinner and Dancinโ in the Dirt
On Saturday, November 7, I’ll be speaking at Wings of Eagles Ranch in Concord, NC for their annual Dinner and Dancinโ in the Dirt fundraiser. As of this writing, tickets are still available. If youโre in the area, come enjoy an evening out and support this life-changing ministry!
RTD Awareness Month
Next month, watch for an inspirational post by a special guestโmy friend, fellow author, and fellow RTD warrior Paige Snedeker! Paige and I have known each other for almost a decade, and she has been a big prayer partner and supporter in my author journey. Her award-winning memoir, Paigeโs Pages: A Story of God’s Strength in Impossible Circumstances, tells her own unique journey of faith amid adversity. Get ready to welcome her and share her message!

Help others find grace and resilience in the face of the unknown.
